Taken from below Snoqualmie Falls on the Snoqualmie River. Several kayakers were taking turns 'riding the surf'; I am not sure the proper term for what they were doing. Several wiped out in that COLD water but righted themselves quickly. It was evening on a cloudy day, right near sunset but with the diffuse lighting from the grey skies. Shot at 300mm.

The up-tilt of the boater seems a little off to me, I'll chalk it up to my "automatic" perception of how things "should" look and enjoy your composition of this great water image.

Blurry paddles get ya all the time....

Good shot, but would have liked to see the kayaker positioned more to the bottom left...
