 This is a straight shot. There was no post processing done and only available light was used... The mask that I shot was laid on a green table out in the sun and that made the mouth come out green with a little bit of glow to the loose threads... I liked how it looked as if there were a light inside, but it's just the reflection of the sun...

First Impression:
Neat! I have no idea what it is. My eyes keep getting drawn to the green void

Composition:
Mask has interesting texture. Green mouth area is flat and too centered. Strands are distracting. The green area may have been less objectionable if the lines around the mouth were clean and free of the strands.

Subject:
Definitely meets the challenge. Good eye for seeing the potential in the shot.

Technical:
DOF is shallow.
I like the lighting.
File size is a bit small. You only used 575 X 431. You could have gone to 640 X

Looks like th eopening of a clam. Not sure how to read the green void. Without the title I would have to be asking , "What is it?"
