 Paintbrush in a glass of water lit with a desk lamp. This is actually an outtake from the absctract macro challenge that I liked a lot but not as an abstract. I figure it works for this challenge. I hope that's not too lame.

This image feels a little dark. I believe there is more to see if you opened the image up with better lighting.

The title kind of ruins this picture for me... but then I don't like descriptive titles that tell you what is going on... let the viewer decide what she sees in the photo. I like the photo though...
