This image sings to me. A song of joy and sadness. Of dryness and wetness. Of boredom and overcoming of boredom. It's a visual metaphor for the beginning of life and the sunset years. It's confusing and entertaining. It has changed my life. I will never look at things again. ...the same, I mean.

...Yanking yer chain, AH - trying to see what it takes to get a click from you. ;-) It is an excellent image and I wish I could comment with seriousness, but it's not in my nature. I honestly do like it and congratulate you on a very strong finish.

Jutilda hit it on the mark.

When I saw this moment in time happening, I thought of the young and old, and black and white thing.

But, Jutilda went further into detail on other opposites. She actually took a moment to look at the pix, disected it, and came up with some interesting stuff.

Kudos Jutilda for not just clicking through, and stopping to really see what I was after.

Anyone can make a pretty picture, but giving it a story takes it to the next level.

Great candid. I think this pic could have been further helped with some kind of post processing - maybe BW or desaturation?

This is so telling on many levels. Old and young, black and white, playful and sedentary. Really well done. Love the color.
