I couldn't get a better angle, really don't like the comp.
This is more less a test. This is the most post processing I've done. Went for the surreal look
cropped, auto levels and color, contrast, color adj., sat/huge red, blue, yellow on the whole image; isolated the water and played with channel mixer, dodge the highlights in water, slight burn boat/background, blur the background, little more contrast, usm, resize, save as web.

This looks like a model on a shiny surface, albeit a very clear and colorful image, perhaps I'll have to eat my words after the challenge. |

Something odd in this picture makes it seem like a model of a boat.
I think it is because boat is so focused and nothing else in the picture is.
It is a cool effect though. |

Nice composition, colors, very moody. Should be in top 5. |

First impression when I saw this was that the depth of field looked artificial. After looking at it for a while it does work and has an almost 3d quality to it. The thickness of the light reflection on the far right steals a lot of the eyes' attention, though. Reducing the size of the light beam may help some. |

Can't tell if the boat is real or a model. Great contrast between the top and bottom of the photo. Fantastic shot. |

I really like this. It almost doesn't look "real" lol...It reminds me of a technique in photoshop used to make life sized subjects (typically landscape...houses, and such) appear to be models. Anyway, this is quite lovely. |

very odd, almost creepy. it looks like a toy boat on a copper table. i wish i could see more of the marina. it appears you selectively blurred to create the effect, still interesting. |
