Idea pretty good, but the plant and its prey are quite different...the overall macro though is a little out of focus, needs better DOF. Actually a shot from a little further away might have been better.

This is the last time I vote while eating lunch... :) I find myself wondering if the background on the right side adds anything... I think a different crop may have made for a more appealing photo (though it still wouldn't have made my lunch appealing)... Of course, that's just me, and I'm often wrong :)

My voting criteria for this challenge are:

1. Did you capture a scene from the movie (as the challenge brief states) or did you enter a picture and fit a title to it.
2. How close a rendition is your image to the movie.
3. How does the image stand up in its own right.

In this case:

1. This has no correlation to the film or stage play
2. NA
3. A well captured macro, with good detail. The part of the fly-trap covering the flys head is unfortunately placed.

Overall an adequate macro, but it does not meet the challenge. 4
