 I shot this from the press area at the space center in May 2000 (STS-101). What an experience! The launch was at 6:11 a.m., just minutes before sunrise. It was certainly one of the most incredible things I've ever witnessed!

This shot is a scan from a 35mm negative.

I miss those night launches. This upcoming Decembers launch will be at night. Nice shot !...It's my dream to capture my own shuttle launch photo.
