 I choose this subject because of the nice colours and contrast with the background.

Because the subject has not got a lot of repitition I had a lot of variations to choose from, and finally picked this image out of the bunch.

The subject for this photograph is a curtain, it was taken at 1:1 and cropped and contrast adjusted.

Very interesting. I like the color and texture. I like the cropping you chose except maybe you could have cropped about an inch off the top to close up some of the negative space created by the blurred purple.

the blue element at the bottom right is somewhat distracting. Great colors otherwise, though.

Too much of the shot is out of focus for my taste.
