3 - Like the concept. A much tighter crop, also to diminish the overexposed areas as much as possible and perhaps a variation in the toning to leave more detail in, make this better in my opinion. A more balanced composition (more centered or else off-centered) and 640 width (quality dependent) would have likely helped too. |

Don't they have the most velvety muzzles? (Not sure if that's the anatomical term).
I think you could have moved in even closer (assuming your friend would not be inclined to investigate your lens). The white blaze is a bit overexposed. This is a subject worth expoloring for the textures challenge if you can get close enough to get a really sharp exposure of the fine hairs and bristly whiskers. Nice effort and amusing break. |

I don't feel Black & White lends itself well to the Abstract theme, sorry. |

It does not really seems a macro, and it quite easy understanding what the subject is. I do not think it really fits the challenge. |
