I like the refracted light from the sun, and the pearly look to the whole sky around the rainbow created.

| Meets the challenge however the contrast is lacking. Also, I'm not liking the center focus. If you got more of the landscape in the shot that would have probably improved the composition. |

| Be carefull shooting into the sun it can damage your sensor. The image lacks contrast and a subject to focus the eyes on. Try using the shadow/highlight adjustment it may help. |

Interesting capture of the Sun. When I was on Lantau earlier this year the sun was hidden behind clouds all the time..
I like the concept here and I feel that cropping so that the sun is more off centre (rule of thirds) would give a more dynamic feel to this shot. |

| Cropped to the rule of thirds and with some other basic editing, this could be an interesting shot. |
