This was about the third idea I had for this challenge, but I like it best so Im hoping for more yellow challnges.
Step one, get ducky.
then put him on yellow backround with easter candy & eggs, lit with 2 clamp lamps and camera on tripod. Chase ducky to center, he gets scared and poops, pause, wipe( backround, not duck), repeat.
Post processing, shot in RAW, and had to desat like crazy because the yellow was maxing out in both Capture one ( the famous yellow issue) and adobe RAW.
Grabbed the green chanel for multiply, and the blue channel for his legs red filter for his beak and legs. USM at 0,.5,160, save for web, then usm again at 0.1.60.
Returned duck to feed store, now my daughter is angry because she never got to see the little guy! |

I think shooting the duck alone would have been much better. Still a cute picture. |

Gorgeous yellow glow on the duckling, would actually like to see the cute little quacker without the Easter accessories, he could steal the show with that darling pose, love the chest feathers. |

I not sure about the composition - I would keep it all yellow without red and green eggs in the corner, plus the negative space on the right makes the photo kind of shifted imho... but having said that, it's still lovely and editing on the duckling seems perfect |

The picture of the bird itself is lovely - didn't need the props at all and in fact they detract from the gorgeous duckling. |

The colours are amazing how they blend and complement. |

I like the image and idea, but the lighting just doesn't cut it - too many shadows, too dark. Very cute though! |

I really like the composition, not overly fond of the shadows. But still one of the top photos in the contest. |

I'd like to see the duck all alone without all of the other items to clutter up the shot. |

This would have been cute but the harsh shadows ruin it for me. |

Very cute and well lit, but I think the eggs/peeps detract from the image, rather than add to it. A sharp image of the baby duck (?) with the warm light you used, would've done very well IMO. |
