 Draped my yearling green tree python (Morelia viridis) on a bluming forsythia bush in the backyard and started shooting.

Selective color to remove a little red and remove a little yellow from the neutral tones to help bring out the violets...

It's a great shot I would have liked a bigger dof but that's only my opinion! Lovely shot!

Needs more contrast. Try working with curves.
