| This is a bit too contrasty for me. There is very little midtone detail. I really dislike the pink color cast that I'm seeing on my monitor. With an extra light pointed more toward the background you could have eliminated quite a bit of the harsh shadows under the ribbon. This looks like a case where the camera was fooled by the white background, thus the lack of good detail in the dark vegetation. Shooting a subject with a great deal of tonal contrast can be tricky because of the different exposure requirements. In this case, capturing the texture of the vegetation should take precedent. Nice effort. |
