cloned out one small spot on tulip, rotated 90 degrees, slight crop, smart sharpen.

Took many shots of daffodils, tulips, etc. in various settings. But when this came up one shot did it.

Placed one tulip on a mirror, balanced white drawing paper over that and added some silver mylar to the mix.

After challenge thoughts: I saw what I wanted to see in this image and not what was there. "Next time" I'd probably take lots more shots of this setup to get the best exposure and composition.

Hi! Here̢۪s a comment from the Critique Club.

First Impression:
Fuzzy, nothing is in focus.

Composition:
I like the flower placement and the use of the mirror. Background on the left is a bit busy, I prefer the background on the right side. Nice colours in the flower. The mirror frame is a little distracting due to its angle.

Subject:
Meets the challenge

Technical:
f29 @ 10 sec? Did something move? You should have had lots of DOF. As I mentioned above, nothing was in focus. I would have preferred sharp petal/leaf detail. In your comments you didn̢۪t mention if the soft look was intentional. You did use smart sharpen, so I̢۪m not sure.

Summary:
Back at ya! Thanks for the Déjà vu II critique.

I liked you concept, I think the voting masses didn̢۪t like the lack of detail

A bit soft. Sharper focus would help.

It is a shame that the windowfram is not straight (it is a windowframe?) The tulips are very dominating, I think I would have given them more space.

Cool image and idea - it's a little too blurry though (IMO), looks like a little camera shake. Using a tripod would have done the trick, or perhaps a higher ISO if you had to go hand-held.
