 Shot in incandescent lighting. Polarizer used to eliminate glare on cursor glass. Yellow towel background used to keep to challenge description. Postprocessing consisted of slight curve adjustment, decreasing the contrast of the towel, cloning out some blemishes on the slide rule, increasing the satuation, resizing, and a small amount of USM.

interesting subject.. original... background might have been better in a contrasting color however.

The subject itself isn't terribly appealing, but it could be improved by a solid colored background imho. I don't think the textured background works with the subject very well.

Being a big fan of highly precise mathematical tools that I have no idea how to use, I like this. My only complaint is that you left it sooo close to the background. Certainly it is within the realm of possibility to bring it away from the BG in this one?
