"JOY is Merry on Christmas!" is a nice candid in the Best of 2002 challenge.
Obviously you were capturing a true expression, which is always wonderful to see. The image itself is a little harsh. The image looks over processed because there are areas that are very pixeled, especially in her hair. There are also some weird white lines that come across in the shot, possibly from the lights reflection. Overall the shot seems out of focus, but I can understand that you were trying to capture the emotion. |

| I get the impression this photo is resized a bit too much and you should've gotten rid of the white lines and done something about her forehead. It's a very nice composition though. |

| I suspect that there is more to this image than can been seen at first glance. However the image itself does nothing for me. It is blurred, pixillated and the scratches do not help. Please do not take offence I am commenting on the quality of the image only. |
