 Editing: Crop, levels, curves, resize, smart sharpen, sharpen tool on eye, bangs and nose, save for web.

I think you can almost feel the coarseness of this horse's mane and how soft and velvety his nose must be.

These miniature horses were in a field near Salida, Colorado. They were so cute - they have much bigger manes than regular horses. The mane falls down both sides of the neck and all of them had these big bangs.
