 Okay, I'm taking my son to a party while trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the Yellow III challenge when I see this guy asking the cars at a stop light for spare change... and he has a yellow sign!

I dropped off my son and came back and watched him for a while. I really need a telephoto lens as I couldn't get a good shot of him. So I went driving around for something else to shoot but I couldn't find what anything good.

So I went back to find this guy and waited till he came walking past me. I talked to him a bit and then asked if I could take a picture of him. He asked if I was with the press and I told him no that I was trying to find a photo for a web site challenge. He agreed (see photo) then he gave me his sign! Yes, I have his sign (he said he had another). I gave him some money for dinner and thanked him.

Then he asked if I would give him a print. I said yes and he gave me his address... yes, he has a PO Box address. So I'll send him a picture.

Hmmm... I printed this picture on my Canon and it looks better printed then on the monitor???

Great photo David, and what a cool story! I love how that yellow sign just pops right out! This almost looks like a selective desat photo, but it's just perfect coloring/lighting! Disappointed that this one only scored 5.3. It deserves to be higher!
