Okay... this is very similar to my 'Off-Center Subject' entry, and it may be recognized as such; and if it is, it will probably be compared unfavorably to 'zesty,' because that one was better. I've decided that lemons are harder to work with.
I actually would probably not have entered this, but the first challenge I submitted to was 'Yellow Revisited,' so I feel like it's appropriate that I enter this challenge, even if this isn't the best image I could have made. In any case, it was the best image I *did* make, so I'm sticking with it.
The setup was very similar to 'zesty' (paper background, clip-on light for background, 420EX for lemon lighting), though the processing was a bit heavier and more difficult. It's hard to get a good blue when you have warm lights.

wow, just not up to par with this one. sloppy editing, less-than-ideal fruit, rushed shooting, eh. guess I asked for it. gotta take some time off 'ere. |
