Detail of the Masonic Emblem at the base of the Arch at Valley Forge National Park. I think the right angle creates a strong line from it's point through the center of the compass. Your eye travels up and down that line many times.

Edits: rectangular crop, Greyshaded, Contrast adjusted, file and image resized for web use using PSP 7.04.

My first submission ever!

It meets the directions for the challenge but it just doesn't capture my attention. Also the image is blownout at the bottom. Vast divergence in light between the bottom and 1/3 up the image. 5

Is this a masonic symbol? Even if it isn't, it's still a very good example of right angles!

great idea, contrasts problems in shooting this, I guess. not happy with the angle or the crop....I would have rotated CW to straighten the (my) Right side of the protracter and left in more BG.
