| Looks like a Russian Mobster. There appears to be some menace behind the askance gaze. I can picture that the viewer/photographer has just waved her arms and given an exagerated cough. He's considering whether or not to kill her. |

| this is how you fill the frame with a face, by making it a landscape, a multifaceted, multitextured terrain. It might just be lens distortion, but it looks as though his eyebrow is raised, hinting that he's interested... which makes me interested. I like how the cigarette completes a major diagonal. His head rises up as though it were on Mount Rushmore. |

| Saw this one on the black and white thread. This is really a nice portrait. Classic style with an almost vintage appearance, like the lounge lizards that were so popular in the 50's and 60's. Great personality shot. |
