"Rainy Days" is an excellent addition into the Refraction of Light challenge. I am personally surprised your shot did not finish higher, I wonder if voters just passed by it too quickly.
The composition is amazing. I love the liquid feel and movement of this piece. You really have capture the movement of water and light. I personally like the coloring, I know someone had commented on that. I think if you went black and white it would take away from the light that was captured. I really wish I had something more to say but you have created a wonderful piece and should be very proud. I always look forward to your submissions! |

Wow! Mama! This is almost borderline transparent refraction and tru refraction. The silhouette created by the body contrasts well with the "liquidy" material in front of it. I wish you good luck in this challenge. And still after all of that, it's still a "wow" photo ;) |

Good shot. Is that water or something else on the glass? |

I like this because it is a bit different from most of the other entries. |

I was just reviewing the thumbnails of this contest with the thought that I didn't have enough high scores. Upon looking at the thumbnail i realized what I missed in this one and feel embarassed. This is a brilliant refraction. My only criticism is the color - it just doesn't put it into the 9-10 category but overall the image is clever and beautiful and original for this challenge. bumped from 5 to 8 |
