Simple editing, run through neat image to rid noise, auto adjusted levels and then a pass with dodge/burn to bring out more of the hilights.

This image really kind of stopped me in my tracks...I really love the grand/epic quaity of this particular view...such light and drama..and I also love the fact that this really looks like a painting...beautiful work.

I really like this photo. I like its out-of-the-box nature. It does a very nice job of capturing the texture of the sky. I'm a pilot and I've seen a lot of sky. Well done! I fear that it won't score as highly as I think it should because it employs a broader definition of texture than voters will appreciate. Hope I'm wrong. It's among my top 10 and I hope it ribbons.

this looks like a painting. very good. Too bad that there isn't something other than clouds to make it a little more interesting; like a bird or something to give the whole more "story" or something of the sort. Good luck
