 I took a piece of paper, put some green lines on, folded it and squeezed it, then took the photo.

Use of layers to soften the colour.

Gammacorrection to darken it a bit

Composition is OK, but it's an odd choice of subject and a just a bit "flat" in lighting/contrast.
