 I haven't been active in participating in any challenges recently, my last DQ had a huge negative impact on my interest in DPC, so I decided to give it another try, this isn't exactly a perfect entry for the texture challenge, but this is what I shot this week... We'll see how this will score ..

looks over-sharpened (halo effects on the outlines of the bird)
but I like the the cropping and choice of black and white.
