This woman is just beautiful! You seem to capture her in such a beautiful light. Again, love the details and wrinkles in her skin. Amazing! |

People's attitudes to a repeating subject are interesting, aren't they? Stylistically, this is very different from what we know as a 'librodo' look, and yet it seems to me there is more attention paid to the model than the photography here. It's a grand shot, and she has an amazing face, but perhaps people were looking for something more ... active, perhaps - interactive maybe. Maybe it's too close to folks' idea of a 'portrait'. All the usual DPC imponderables :-) |

She has fantastic teeth - my guess is they aren't hers :). A nice candid moment, but pales in comparison to your other shot of her. |

Wow, nice picture. I didn't vote in the candid (didn't have the time) but I do check my favorite photographers after the contest ends. I still like the texture one better but this has an interesting angle to your series. |

this should do very well. has enough candid feel to it and not as much portrait as others similar. nice hair too. 10. and i noticed her in texture too. double blue for you? |

Great capture, but selectively coloring the hair seems odd. I think straight b+w would be best for this image, especially considering the facial texture. |

Definately one of the big boys this one. GR8 colour - perfect DOF - contrast lovely, woman not so lovely, but makes a good subject. 16th image I vote on - so far a ribbon. |

It will be interesting to see how this goes. I dont think it will beat 8.200 but it should do very well. |

Is it the texture lady? Nice image though not as good as in the texture challenge. The colortones of the hair seem litle strange compared to other parts of the image. |

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.
A very good character face to have captured. Nice use of HMS to bring that out. I don't like the pink tones in the wig though, but a good (7) photo nonetheless. A 7 is one of my highest scores given from what I have seen entered.
I want to add, since the Texture Challenge results have been posted, that this looks like Erlinda, from librodo's Texture win (congrats by the way, as I didn't want to mention that in your comments before voting here). I am sure this is the same woman. I am happy you got off 70 shots of her, but in the other explantion you said "she allowed you" to take her photo. In that, I don't find this to be as candid as I assumed. It also kind of gives up anon for me. I will have to deduct a bit for that from the original score I gave you. I really am a stickler for anon entries. Still a wonderful face though and does have great character. |

I like this shot. I like how the background is blurred out. The "hair" around her head has an interesting color to it as well. |

My winning pick for the challenge. Placement is perfect and the tones are subdued yet very effective. Of course the subject is full of personality... very well done! |

Third-World-A-Licious. I could be wrong but it looks like you double dipped from the Textures Challenge. DPC will freak over this one. A top 5 for certain. Good Luck! |

I like the off centered subject. Good DOF. I am not crazy about the hair being a diff. color. |

I think I've seen her before in Textures? :) If you get two ribbons out of this you better by her dinner or something. |
