I debated on this one... originally voted five for sharpness but composition idea won out - 7... for strong composition. I like the excellent crop.... Sharpen editing is so difficult for me, I don't know what to tell you there, but on this foto with shallow dof, you may consider to open up a bit and keep in mind that your lens best sharpness is at f5.6......... at least according to this.

I really like the idea, but there's just something about the composition that feels... stiff? Awkward? I'm not sure just what it is, I'm sorry. Maybe one of the pros will be able to tell me?

Interesting and well thought out. I like this more on my second viewing, although I do think the composition might have been improved if the chrome (letter opener, I think) abutted the border also as the flower stem does.

I like the concept here, but I think you should have chosen a dark background. The chrome of the thing blends into the BG too much. Other than that, it's really good.

A simple tip. When you use any prop go through the trouble of cleaning it first. spots, dust bunnies, and tiny dirty crevices are turned into boulders and cob webs. Your composition was interesting and the edges sharp.

Nice idea and arrangement. Sharper/clearer would be better, I want to make out more detail in the buds.
