Removing the remainder of loose sand from the band would have been a good idea, but I like what it represents.

a lovely image, but, the focus is off. it's on the sand behind the ring, which is very distracting. this couldh have done very well.

Very nice shot! I really like how the DOF and the background complement this shot. Only thing keeping me from giving this a 10 is the sand stuck to the side of the ring. Its distracting and doesn't follow the smooth flow of the ring and clean lines of the sand hill.

Neat idea, but I think it would be better with a slighly deeper depth of field, so all the sand in front is in focus and remove the sand from the ring.
