i cant imagine anyone can complain about right angles lacking in this image! Who builds these things? Are there people getting paid to be lego artists? I need to look into this....good work, btw :) |

I did not think we were meant to enter photo's of someone else's art/sculpture? |

Creative idea but it seems to me that its someone else's artwork. The philosophy of a "right angle" person is a nice take on the challenge but . . . . I'll have to come back to this one. |

This is disturbing on so many levels, not least of which is that she's recognizable. It's a good photograph, just blinking at the Lego Hermione. :) Nice capture - and a nice choice of an unusual subject, as well. |

This photo certainly meets the challenge; it's made almost exclusively of right angles, although most are in shapes whose "blockness" is much stronger than the "right-angleness". The depth of field is nice; the background is blurred just enough to keep the designs on the boxed Lego sets from being too distracting while keeping the larger Lego logos readable. But the lighting makes the Hermione model look rather flat; the impressive 3-D structure of the model is not conveyed in the photo. And the title is too long; the fact she is made from Lego blocks is evident from the photo itself and the gratuitous use of "Right Angle" doesn't carry much meaning outside of the challenge. |

If the character is your subject. Play around with your Aperture it will focus in on her. Foreground is blurry and the background is more focus. If background is your subject the girl is in the way. Try moving around the subject and imagine if it would make a good shot. Good thing about digital cameras are you can take multiply shots until you can get it right.
Professionals take hundreds if not thousands of shots to get a few good ones. |

thats a great shot now all i need to know is who built that because i am a BIG fan of hermione and i have to idmit that pretty inpressive AND it has many right angles many many many many many just think of all the legos INSIDE, your score is 8 i know you thought that i would give you a 10 but i 'm just not comfertable with that backround. |

i think zooming in on the girl would have made this a better pic. too much background. |

I know it's made of 1000's of right angles but as a whole, it doesn't give that impression. :( |

I'd like to see her fill the frame more and have the background blurred. The intentional jaggies are kind of fun though. |

I think a close up on the model would have been a better choice of shot.. Too much other un-neccessary stuff in the frame.. |
