I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
Unfortunately, candids of animals are really not what I look for in a good candid. Animals are aware and both unaware at the same time of a photographer, nor do they care either way. Too easy, no comfort zone lost. It's a 2 for me. |

It's a great shot. I just don't know if I consider wildlife shots to be "candid"? |

excellent DOF, nice detail in the feathers. Since you don't have the bottom half of the bird, a tighter crop might be in order. 6 |

Sorry, don't see the connection to the challenge. ??? In regards to the image - it's a very nice capture of this hawk. Love the bokeh in the background. A little hot on the head but nothing super detrimental to the impact of the photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

Oh, the animal problem. Whilst not exactly outside the challenge definition, I can't help but feel that most voters will actually consider it so. Nice shot, although lacking some exposure and processing control around the head and eye. |
