I love this. Too bad it didn't place higher. The title is perfect too. |

I agree with Younger et al about the highlight in the doorway. I think it would be stronger if the doorway were cropped out. |

I feel this would have set a whole different mood if the door were cropped out. |

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
Not a very good candid here I'm afraid. The woman is too far back and obscured. The hand over the eyes masks any emotion. No real story, kick, or interest to the shot. It's a nice building with character, but as a candid, it does very little for me. It's a 2. |

Love the parallel of the raised arms in the two figures. Sense of location is strong, light is very good. There's a kind of mad story to it which I like. |

I really enjoy this photo- the only problem is the overexposed outside is really drawing my attention away from the subject. The man outside is interestingly making the same gesture as the one in. |

Nice idea and capture. For this challenge, a much tighter crop would be better with clear detail on the person. |

at first i thought the reflection of light from the pews were ducks or something! i like how they lead to the person in back but she is kind of too small to make a good subject of the photo. zoomed in would be better |

Nice! Right place at the right time. Excellent use of light. The guy just outside the doorway is kind of distracting, but nothin a little crop couldn't take care of. Fantastic image none the less! |

This is special...giving the feeling of beeing in church yourself. Great lights. I would take out some colors form the doorway to be less disturbant. |
