 Seems at least one commenter questioned if this truly was candid. Yes, it truly was. I made three trips to this cemetery looking for someone to be either decorating a grave of a loved one, or just visiting. This man had been doing both. He had just finished decorating, and knelt for a moment before getting up to go.

I agree with the comments below. This is in fact one of those rare moments captured. Perfect timing here. There is a slight blue cast in the BW image. I'm not sure why I'm seeing it but the tonal qualities could be improved with a boost in channels and levels. Good shot nontheless.

This shot shows so much emotion, great candid! Really makes you feel for the man that's lost someone close to him.

Way a lot better than more than half of the top 10 pics including mine. A bit soft on the face but it tells a lot of stories.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

This one is a bit difficult to comment on. I see his hand on the stone, and him looking at the ground. Unfortunately, I can't tell if this is contrived or candid. Most look at the stone and not the ground in front of it, however, I will concede this was indeed a candid. I think it is a good (6) photo, and with all the other entries, that is actually a good score given by me in this challenge.
