 Shot in Austin (not Houston). I thought this was pretty interesting especially how the drawings of the musicians reflected the people's personas in the shot (to some extent).

As for the post processing all I did was some curves, hue/saturation, color balance, brightness/contrast, shadow/highlights, selective color, noise ninja and smart sharpen (not in that order). Ok I did a lot but I always laugh when someone says all they did in post was... and then they list off a bunch of stuff.

another shot from your portfolio that I just found today (so I'm late, lol)

Gotta love the sharpness and the strong contrasts here.
and yes, I agree those posters in the back are highly attention grabbing, and interesting. Yet another good streed candid.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

This is a decent candid with decent interest. I like the guy to the left, but would have liked to see more of what he was doing. Looks like he is getting up. I would have prefered the guy more in the shot and the girl at the distance. Can you go back and get this reversed? LOL..Just kidding. Its very dark where he is, but it does add interest and draws the eye to him. Nice focus. The colors are good. It's ok for me. I give it a 6.

I like the environment but this particular capture isn't quite engaging me. I think what you are showing is the woman on the bike responding to the guy sleeping on the streets with his dogs. The problem for me is that I can't really guage the woman's emotions from this angle and I can barely see the guy with his dogs.I don't think this really captures the moment. Ultimately, the stenciled wall is what grabs my attention in this.

I like that one grouping of red with her top, the newspaper stand and the bike. Really nice use of off centered subject. She's looking back like she heard something. Good urban shot. 8
