Really love this one, you can see the boy is not happy with the bird, great candid. A little overexposed on the white sand, not easy to shoot a sandy beach in Florida.

Missed this in the voting, but would've given it an easy 6. Has some technical problems, but perfect for the challenge and just an overall great candid.

LOL - What a nice Candid. Little guy seems to be at the end of his ropes due to this bird. Some advice - Next time - take the shot in RAW. You will get much more control over the White Balance. 6 from me.

Seems pretty unsharp, even pixelated. Nice capture though

Nice capture of the moment and expression. Tighter crop removing some of left might be better.

Awwwwww. . . what a cute photo! He looks so bewildered. I love the detail of the sand all over his feet. Great candid moment!

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.

Children are so easy to capture a candid moment from. Usually a candid shot for me, and with a child, has to exude a lot of interest or be exceptional. I like the concept of this photo. The interest of the bird and the expression does make it a good candid. Where it lacks, however, is in the technicals. I think the focus is just too far off the boy, and I so want to real that in on this shot so I can feel the moment more. It's still a good 5 photo though. It's a nice capture.
