YES! This is exactly what I was trying to convey..some got it and others didn't

I think this has very good potential, particularly with the way she's framed by the structure in the background. As I'm sure others have probably already commented, you needed to have the focus more on your subject than on the traffic. The look on her face makes the shot.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

This is just ok for me. It has a story to it and all, but it falls short for me. Not one of my top pics. I also would have given it better tones and the focus is off on the subject and seems to have fallen more towards the traffic. Just not a top pic for me.

Homeless shot no. 4, only 50% through challenge. Reckon you could have given the girl a break, life's tough enough without serving as a prop for someone play in a photo contest.

Interesting.. how you got the coloring and the switch from grainy to sharp in Basic is something I'd love to know. :)
