::: Critique Club :::
Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
Is an interesting composition ... but doesn't really meet the challenge ... don't let that stop you from entering again ...
Composition:
I would like to see more of the person ... just a bit more face from behind the tree (that is if it was a portrait type) ... in a candid this you can't often control. This is an interesint crop but it feels like the tree is a barrier.
Subject:
Does not seem to meet the challenge. but that ain't the be all and end all of life really.
Technical (Colour and light):
I am one of the people who loves colour when it comes to shots taken in nature ... here the black and white seems a little much .. it works but I think colour would help.
To grow its vote?:
Well meeting the challenge helps .. if you have not sure about how to chekc the forums ..poeple quite often discuss the challenges in the week of entry.
Summary:
Lovely shot ... will be looking for more from you!
If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via the PM system.
Cheers

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.
Not really a candid to me. Seems to be hiding from the camera but then gets caught and laughs. I like to see something a bit more out of the ordinary or that has a bit of a kick to it. I do like the tones, and good dof on the face rather than the tree or the background. |

Look, she got half of her tree covered by face :) Seriously, some sharpness on the bark wouldn't hurt. |

This will probably suffer greatly from DNMC... |
