 I shot this at a funky old antique store in downtown Atlanta, handheld (wish I'd brought the tripod) using available light (which is pretty theatrical, as you can see!). Lens info is my best guess, as I don't have it here at the cyber-cafe to double check.
I shot in camera RAW format, with minimal post-processing. I pushed the exposure up in the RAW dialog box, resized to the contest dimensions, and saved as a medium-quality JPEG.
I just joined the group a few days ago, and this is my first entry. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and any constructive criticism. Thanks!
PS- This image looks great on my mac screen, but looked muddy and underexposed on a pc screen that I checked it out on. Any tips on how to compensate?

No trickery here...the mannequin really looks like that. Pretty creepy, huh?

Ah! I think I get it ... is it a real woman's head with her body hidden by the curtain and the part from the scarf down is a mannequin? Interesting and colorful entry, however you did it! She looks like she could just get up and scare the bejesus out of me at any second.

The highlight on the left is pulling my eye away from the subject. Not good. The clashing colors bother me too. Beautiful manikin :) 6
