Greetings from the Critique Club...
Hi Kosmik :)
This, obviously, is a well done photo. The lighting and composition are both excellent. The only critique I have for this photo is the hair area in the lower right portion of the frame. It appears slightly washed out, possibly from dodging or a mis-positioned reflector. There is some detail loss in the hair strands as well, maybe from the exposure or post processing. The bow in her hair is also a nice element, but it could possibly be stronger by showing more of it in the image. The diagonal composition here does provide a nice added dynamic... excellent work :)

Selon moi, ce portrait aurait du faire partie du "Top 10". Vraiment dommage. La lumière est splendide, la netteté irréprochable, l'angle est intéressant et le joli petit modèle a très bien joué le jeu :)
Le seul hic à mon avis, c'est sur la droite vers le bas au niveau des cheveux; les petites mèches sont "altérées" et on voit un "voile" blanc juste au dessus de l'oreille.
Mais ça demeure un excellent portrait. |

| This could actually be a great ad photo to sell MP3's. I like the eyes closed and the moth slightly open as if she is singing along. Your lighting on the hair was also pretty good. The only thing that might have improved the hair would be a halo light above the subject. Otherwise, well done and interesting. |

| Cute! Very sharp, great image quality. I understand the closed eyes and listening to music theme - but I would have preferred to to see the eyes. Something funny just to the right of the ear piece as well, like it was dodged a little too much, just doesn't seem like a normal lighting effect (at least to me, I could be wrong - no points off my vote for that). |

| That is a great image. I could see this being used by the player makers in an ad. Good lights, good composition, fantastic expression. You've set out to tell a story rather than just take a boring static shot |
