| I love this one. I like the little sparkles in the sand, all the broken shells (like it really is at the beach), the beautiful colour of the water and it's dreamy quality, so soft, I really like this. |

| I agree that the out of focus area at the front of the picture weakens this shot. I love to take these sorts of shots at the beach here in SF, and I've found that I like my images that start off with a sharp focus area better. |

Love the colours and the detail. Only slight improvement I would suggest, if I might be so bold, would be to crop off a small portion of the bottom of the frame, so that the image starts sharp at the bottom and goes progressively more OOF vertically throughout the frame. This is because I find the OOF detail at the bottom of the frame to be a little distracting. The colours are punchy and most attractive.

excellent perspective here! i think this is my favorite shot of the bunch.
and topsail! i've been there! i think i stayed for about 1 hour, though. it was off season and pre-interest-in-photography so i was just...'let's get back to savannah!' :)

| I like the scene over all. The sky to me seems too blurred, and kind of spotty with burning. I would also like to see the focus sharp along the bottom edge of the image. The colors are wonderful |

| Fun, but I think I'd like to have seen the focus continue to the bottom or maybe crop out the bottom section that's out of focus. But that's just me. |

| I think this is beautiful. I love the layers you created of shells, waves, and horizon. I think this photo also would have been great as a horizontal shot. If you can think of any way to clean up the sky a little that would be great. Right now it looks kind of misty or dirty. That might create a little more punch. Great shot. |

Brings back happy memories of collecting shells with my dad when we went to South Padre Island every summer, growing up.
The DOF is wonderful. I may have to buy a print of this!! |
