Draganized or not, it's still a great image. The red makes the shot pop! |

Nicely scored with a very simple picture. 11th is a hard place to finish. I bet you could have hit Top 10 with some sweet radial blur... ;) |

Amusing ... good composition, brick looks a little overdone in post processing ... maybe. Still one of the most unique in the challenge. |

My first choice in this challenge, and my only 10.
It's one of those rare photographs that is all the more interesting because of what is NOT in it. No people, no props to suggest a context; it makes a lovely puzzle ... what is this place? Probably a public building. Not government, but not commercial either. Maybe an old theatre? The neglected state of the building and of the fire buckets themselves is nicely complemented by the quirky, asymmetrical composition of the photograph, and by the sympathetic processing. It's a photograph as unpretentious as its subject, yet it nevertheless manages to attain great charm and interest. Thoughtful, original and challenging, and relentlessly "anti-DPC" as well - can't ask for more than that! |

Nice image! It reminds me of an Andrew Wyeth painting. |

I like this very much and I'm not sure why exactly. Cool shot. I think it would make a great poster if it was cropped vertically. Just a thought. |

Good one, but the photo is too static. Needs some leading lines or a diagonal or something. A bit of "human interest" would help if you were after a more photojournalistic approach. 7 |

Took a second and then a third look at this photo. I guess that defines a successful phot; One that people want to come back to and reexamine. The contrast of the whitwashed wall, the dark brink and the red firebuckets is perfection. I also enjoy the way you placed the photo off center. Had you centered the buckets it would have lost all its magic. 8 |
