I have wondered what these were for quite some time. We have them at the living museum here in Newport News.
Great pose they have going and you captured it really well. They're such interesting looking birds aren't they? |

I love sandhill cranes and this has to be one of the best pics I have seen taken of them. Focus is spot on, and it looks like you left just a little bit of color on their heads which is beautiful. Great pose to catch with one bird with one leg up. All around a great pic. My fav of your new uploads! |

I think this is my favorite of your new stuff. The color is wonderful, especially on the cranes. You kept the feather detail which is lovely. I do like this border, would make a lovely wall hanging. Into my favs. Would you mind sharing your color technique?

Great shot, great tones....I like this one a lot. Only complaint the face of the bird on the left kind of gets lost in itself. |

i love the bronze color you did to this one. focus is spot on too! the BG is a bit busy for my taste but it shows them in a more natural setting. very well done as always jimmy
