That works well. Great tones that really bring out the eyes.

I like the portraits that seem to tell more of a story, let you feel like you know the subbject a bit better after seeing it. I think this does that very well. Great lighting, and just enough DOF, 8 for now.

There's something about this shot that keeps me looking but I'm not sure what it is. The textures? Expression? Lighting? Not your typical clean and fancy portrait to hang on a wall, but seems to definately tell a story about the subject. A well done shot!

I like the warm glow and the dirty face, coupled with that special stare from the model. Good take.

Very shallow DOF that puts the eyes slightly out of focus, great image though, interesting and thought provoking

Creepy but cool. Good use of lighting to enhance the mood.

Nice but did you try a cooler whitebalance, reducing the saturation and punching up the contrast? I did and I thought it looked much cooler, more gritty somehow? Anyway, this works well as it is so don´t take this the wrong way, just a suggestion :)

You're the man! I like the shallow depth of field here...looks like you nailed it (maybe a tad bit in front of the eyes) -- great shot.
