 A storm with strong winds blew down the tree that he was nesting in. His sibling didn't survive and the mom was nowhere around. Kept him warm and started calling around for some care instructions, etc.
A nice gentleman at Second Chance for Wildlife said he'd take him. (He had two more just like him and about the same age, 5 to 6 weeks old, so maybe he'll do alright.)


Shot in raw and brought up the exposure. Lately I've been underexposing everything. I hate blown highlights.
crop, resize, usm and slight sharpen.

Omg, another one playing the cute fuzzy little animal card ;-) Omg, it alwayse works... alwayse ;-) we only have black squirrels up here... hmmm... i like it tho! definatly!
