 This path wanders through the lily beds at the Japanese Gardens. As the path changes direction, the boards continue a bit beyond the rails, jutting out past where the turn occurs. It's said evil spirits can't make the turns and will walk off the path into the water.

I have to wonder what that does for the koi, but it makes for a pretty path to walk.

this shot would be even more interesting if there's some shadows and maybe light from the sun.

A little bit washed out. Needs a to be sharpened up. Play around with contrast controls .Great composition.

I might have used a higher camera angle to make the railing angles more prominent. It might not have worked, but its just a thought.

This meets the challenge very well, and invites the viewer to explore the photo. I like the title. It needs a bit of sharpening, but I still think it is a great image.

Did you consider cropping out the top leaves and the bottom sidwalk? I did it on my screen . It eliminated some distraction and added to the strengt of the right angles.

cool bridge. the focus feels a touch off though. perhaps b/w would have allowed the bridge zig zags to stand out. currently i'm distracted by all the grass.
