Challenge: The Future (Classic Editing*)
Camera: Canon EOS-10D
Location: Tarsis Prime Jumpgate, Mars' L2 Point
Date: Aug 5, 2003
Aperture: 22
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/3
Galleries: Travel, Panoramic
Date Uploaded: Aug 6, 2003

The ship is a new photo, the jumpgate is an edited version of my Color Challenge entry. It's rotated and mirrored, then solarized and level enhanced. Various spot-editing: darkened the "background" and distorted the sidelobes of the gate slightly so they wouldn't be perfectly symmetrical. Stretch to fit 3:1 panorama (for DPCprints). Finally, a touch of radial-spin blur, and a rendered lens flare.

Yeah, it's cool! I like! The shining star adds just the right touch to make this engaging and interesting for a long time.

Good one! This would make a good poster, but maybe without the lens flare!

Interesting work, but it's too much photoshop and not enough photography for my taste.
