well you captured the cutest creatures. that is a big plus. fits the challenge perfectly. i like that these little guys are standing side by side. i think that adds gallons to your overall scene.

that bad is simply the stuff you cannot help. the ground cover is not very good that big rock on the right could go. but this is a great image and captuered very nicely.

this is a very nice image, I think it's well composed and the DOF is perfect.

I do not agree with Louis on the bent twig, I think it's in the perfect place..

when reading a photograph you start from the left top third of the image, and at that spot lies the twig, then you read the image in a circle ending on the main subject..

when following the twig you get to the right side of the frame and hit the rock in the foreground, and you keep following that line until you got back to the lower left side, there another twig takes the eye and leads it to the third twig that leads it to the main subject.

composition like this is rarely noticed by people that havn't taken art classes, but it's the perfect composition, however.. one item out of place will make everything a chaos with lots of rubbish in the photo ;)+

I think you have a great photo and it should have reached top 10.

Wretchedly adorable, as Montgomery Burns would say. :) Great picture, the two little peccaries echoing one another perfectly, right down to their front legs. You've made a great capture here. I think I would have tried a tighter crop, to remove some elements that I believe are distracting: the rock in front, the bowed twig above, a large dark patch at upper right. Hue/desat may have helped the colour, which appears to have a blue tone that may not be intended. Sweet otherwise, a nice image. :)

I gave a 6 on this pic. The subject matter is adorable and I liked the dof. Good detail on the little piggies. Where I think this shot was lacking was inthe lighting and color area. There seems to be an odd hue to the shot overall. Can't put my finger on it exactly but the lighting seems a bit too dim and the color tone almost blue or purple maybe. What may have worked out nice was lightly desat everything but the pigs to help bring them out of the background a little better. I may play with this one in PS a bit if you dont mind. Good shot overall.

Terrific 'models' - how did you get them to pose? That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this shot. The second thought was that the picture over all is quite dark and the animals blended in with their background. (I know you don't often have much choice of backgrounds when dealing with animals, so perhaps there was nothing you could do about that.) Perhaps more lighting or cropping would have helped. The focus is good and I like the blurring of the background and rock in the foreground.

This is an adorable shot and I voted this a 9 during the challenge. I know how hard it is to zoom in on animal shots. It seems that it was either taken through glass or in one the darkened rooms that they put nocturnal animals in. I rated you highly based on that thinking because your focus on the animals is still spot on.

Really neat idea, but the subject almost blends into the background and foreground. I do also see a hint of purple, but it isn't too distracting to me. It could have been the saturation boost that you gave it. The large rock in the front right is a bit distracting, but you can't really control where they stand and move, huh?

I really like the pose. It's a shame you couldn't fill more of the frame, because the little arch above them is slightly distracting, but I'm betting you ran out of telephoto. Somehow there seems to be a bit of a purple tint. Shooting through glass? They almost appear conjoined :)

Nice photograph, they are really cute those two. Wish there was more in the picture, some "action". Don't get me wrong :-), I just mean if they were playing, moving. Maybe movement would be a better word than action.

Carbon copies! A little more light would be nice, but I suspect this is what you had to work with. Nice choice of subject!
