I have some underwater photographs taken with my S45 (in a waterproof case, of course) while on a snorkelling trip in Boracay. One of them was a picture of my friend who happened to be looking *into the blue* where there was absolutely nothing but blue space. I liked the foto as it was. But here came the "Future" challenge. With no editing restrictions, it was quite easy for me to figure out a new use for the reef foto I took of her. I pasted Queen's College's hallway (which I originally took using a Pentax Optio 330 in August 2002) right at the spot where my friend's head was focused on :). I then took care of the details such as the hallway's reflection on the water, and the directional lighting through Photoshop. And this, is the end result. It somehow comes closest to what I figure would be a severely watery future when the polar ice caps completely melt.

One of the most novel ideas in the challenge, and very well done. The blue underwater light is great, but the light lighting the swimmer from above somehow looks out of balance. Still a fabulous photo!

This would be after another five years or so of global warning.

It looks remarkably dry in that hallway, considering. I see they still have boobs in the future. That's remarkably reassuring. One of the better ideas. I think that the contrast could have been higher, but other than that, nicely done.

I think I'd get rid of the swimmer, or if you could have a swimmer (to scale) right up at one of the arches that would have been neat. Having her in the foreground makes the shot feel fake. Good idea overall.
