I like the idea here, but I think you needed a few warmer-toned light sources coming from several different directions - the shadows cast by the sewing machine are distracting. The light you do have is too white and too harsh for the scene as well, as it washes out the book cover. |

The objects are beautiful and old, but with the cloth background that is so brightly colored, it's almost too much. It might be worth looking at the same composition with a plain colored background, but maybe your intention is to show something that may have been sewn on this machine. Amazing how good condition both the book and the machine are! They've been well taken care of. I've never seen a sewing machine like this - it's really interesting. |

Nice "product" shot, but the cluttered bg hurts it. The colors are nice, they just need a different arranging - for my eye, anyway. :) 8 |

The sewing machine and the manual are perfect, but the background not. May be if you put it on an old table and an effect sephia |
