Thank you all for your comments and critiques. This is a purple flower in a five gallon bucket of old and separated yellow paint. The paint was stirred to create the 'leaves'. An adjustment layer "selective colors" was used to change to orange/blue which was more dramatic than the original yellow/purple.

This is beautiful. Great colors and flow. I have no idea what the orange is but it looks cool. The light transitioning to dark to attractive too.

Wow! Stunning image! Love the texture and vibrant colors. I'm not a big fan of boarders but this one fits and becomes part of the whole image better then any I can remember seeing in the past. So far the only 10 I've given! Great job!

very nice it has a feeling of being embedded there. my suggestion to u is not make the shading the dark it takes away the emphasis on the blue

4 - Don't mind the concept, although can't work out how the flower got there/got like that, doesn't 'enhance' the image, in my opinion. Overall a bit dark, perhaps if the blue in the darker areas came through more, may have given this a little extra in my opinion.
