Sorry about the soft sky -- this photo was taken under very difficult conditions with a graduated neutral density filter through a glass window. I tried editing it again, but couldn't get it to come out any better. Still, it scored better than I thought it would! Yes Rikki, this view is from Coit Tower.

A lot of charm in the colors and definition.

LOVE the lower part of the city, not as much the top portion and the sky, what did you do to it in post processing? Looks bad, whatever you did, if only the sky and top of the tallest buildings were as sharp as the lower buildings I would have given it a high rating, as it is it "just" got a 6 wich means above average for me.

To bad there were not more complimentary lines to go with your shape of your window, there are a few, but not many. I do like your perspective.

wow where is this? using the widest on the wide angle setting often makes everything seem flat such as this one. oh i know, coit tower right?

I like the coloring and the depth of field you achieved with this shot. I think backing up a bit and getting more of the window frame itself owuld have improved this one. Good eye.

Nice view. The sky looks out of focus or to soft. Should have tryed to sharpen it more.

This angle brings such a nice perspective to this shot over the city.. Nice job on the crop. The contrast of the hovering sky really pulls this pic together. 8

The sky looks really menacing. 8

Great composition and use of the arch fro framing. Excellent coor in buildings and interesting perspective. The overly smoothed area on the building tops and sky and the slight haloing along the arch are a little distracting.

I"m not really sure that I like the sky in this photo. I don't think it does much to enhance the photo.

This a very cool wide angle shot and could have been one of my favorites in this challenge. But the thing that detracted for me most was the softness in the sky and clouds. They lack sharpness and detail and look as though the were altered in post-pro. As a voter, I can be way off base... but my vote is a 6

One of my favourites. I love the colours of the city and the way the frame draws you into the city.
